Track and Field

There seemed to be no limit to the things Holguin, from West Covina High, could accomplish in two track meets last week. She either won or was part of a winning team in 10 events as the Hornets won both meets. In a triangular meet with Orange Coast and San Diego Mesa, she won the triple jump, the long jump, 100 meter hurdles, and was on the winning 400-meter relay team. She then won the high jump, the long jump and the triple jump and the 100 hurdles and was on the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams against Saddleback and MiraCosta.
