COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Oregon State in Zone, Upsets No. 20 Stanford

Brent Barry scored a career-high 33 points as Oregon State broke a six-game losing streak by stunning 20th-ranked Stanford, 90-71, Thursday night at Corvallis, Ore.
The Beavers, 6-18 overall and 4-11 in the Pacific 10 Conference, led by as many as 20 points in the first half and were ahead, 48-32, at halftime. Stanford (17-7, 8-7) never got closer than 11 in the second half.
Mustapha Hoff added 15 points for Oregon State, which handed Stanford its most one-sided loss of the season.
No. 15 Arizona State 72, Washington 71--Isaac Burton made a three-point shot from the right corner with three seconds to play to give the Sun Devils a Pac-10 victory at Seattle.
The Sun Devils (21-7, 11-5) came back to win after the Huskies (8-16, 4-11) had taken a 71-66 lead on two free throws by Jamie Booker with 19 seconds left.
Mario Bennett of Arizona State scored a career-high 37 points, 24 in the first half. Freshman Mark Sanford scored 26.
Oregon 95, California 82--Orlando Williams scored 24 points and Kenya Wilkins added 17 to lead the Ducks (17-7, 9-6) in a Pac-10 game at Eugene.
K.J. Roberts had 22 points, Jelani Gardner 19 and Monty Buckley 15 for Cal (13-11, 5-10).
OTHER GAMES
Silas Mills had 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to lead Utah State (20-6, 13-4) to an 89-69 Big West Conference victory over San Jose State (4-21, 3-14) at Logan, Utah. Utah State is tied for first place in the league with Long Beach State. . . . Ron Martin scored 13 points and Chad Nelson made the game-winning free throws with 36 seconds to play to lift San Diego State (9-16, 4-13) to a 52-51 Western Athletic Conference victory over Wyoming (13-13, 9-8) at San Diego.
