Holiday outings for Irvine senior citizens begin Monday with a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. shopping trip from Rancho Senior Center to South Coast Plaza.
On Tuesday, seniors will be transported from Lakeview Senior Center to Fashion Island in Newport Beach for a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. spree.
The fee for each trip is $3. Seniors leaving from Lakeview Senior Center on Dec. 21 will travel to the Woodbridge Edwards Theater to watch a movie. The title and time of the movie will be announced later, and the cost is $4.
On Dec. 22, there will be holiday caroling and hot chocolate for seniors from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rancho Senior Center, and there is no charge.
