Mission Viejo Marketplace shopping center is sponsoring a holiday celebration Saturday, featuring a variety of free and community-oriented events.
Complimentary sleigh rides and children’s craft-making will be offered at booths, along with free child safety identification kits.
The “Kid I.D.” kits include an instant Polaroid photograph of a child, plus identification information, to be used in the event of an emergency. Law enforcement representatives will also offer children’s fingerprinting and safety tips.
Music will be provided by the Mission Viejo High School Band, and representatives from the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station will be collecting “Toys for Tots.”
Mission Viejo Marketplace is at Marguerite and Oso parkways.
