STUDIO CITY : Open House at Shops Rings in Holidays

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Studio City.
Holiday lights are being strung across storefronts to prepare for a community open house sponsored by the Studio City Chamber of Commerce Dec. 9.
Santa Claus will make an appearance in the courtyard of the Bank of America at 4 p.m., and some merchants will serve hot cider in their stores. Other shop owners will conduct prize drawings, according to chamber President Jave McWilliams. Schools, churches and clubs have been invited to send groups to sing carols. Volunteer singers may call the chamber at (818) 769-3213 for more information.
