Catherine Sweeney of Oxnard has been named chairwoman of the major gifts commission of the American Heart Assn.’s Oxnard/Port Hueneme/Channel Islands Division. She is a broker with PaineWebber Inc.
Other members of the commission are Greg Anderson, Marc Charney and Laura J.P. Raduechel.
