PASADENA : Councilman Enters Plea in Traffic Incident

Pasadena City Councilman Isaac Richard has pleaded not guilty to charges that he gave police a false name and committed four other misdemeanors after a minor traffic accident in September in Downtown Los Angeles.
Trial is scheduled for Dec. 14 for the volatile councilman, who was censured earlier this month for disrupting a council meeting--his third such censure.
In the September incident, Richard was charged with two counts of giving false information to a police officer, and with reckless driving, throwing an object at a vehicle and driving with a suspended license after an accident involving an MTA bus. No injuries or damage were reported.
