Tissue Prices to Rise: Procter & Gamble Co. said it will raise prices on its Charmin toilet tissue, Bounty paper towels and Puffs tissues because of higher pulp prices. The consumer products giant said Charmin prices will increase 5%, Bounty prices 6% and Puffs prices 8%. The Cincinnati-based company also said it will reduce Luvs diaper list prices by an average of 11% per diaper to narrow the price gap between it and lower-priced brands. Luvs and Pampers will also reduce package counts by an average of 10% in response to similar actions by competitors.
