BRIEFLY : Charity: Computer Store to Do Its Bit

A computer software store in Beverly Hills is planning to donate to the American Cancer Society 10% of the sales proceeds it receives during three hours on Tuesday evening.

Funds raised from the event at the Electronic Library Toy and Software Shop at Kids Universe will go toward cancer society research, education and service programs.

“I support the work of the American Cancer Society and am happy to be able to participate in their fund-raising efforts,” said Howard Rudski, store president.

The donation drive is to take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the store, 8950 Olympic Blvd., No. 104.
