Student Film, Video Programs Scheduled

The American Cinematheque, in collaboration with the University Film and Video Assn., presents the best of the second annual UFVA Student Film & Video Festival in two different 92-minute programs at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday in the Chaplin Theater, Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Ave. (between Bronson and Van Ness avenues).
Short film and video work in all genres will be presented, many with their makers present. The festival premiered in Bozeman, Mont., at the University Film and Video Assn.; Los Angeles is the third stop in the program’s North American tour. The association, which includes teachers, students and others interested in the development of film as a means of communication, was founded in 1947.
