Zack Hernandez, a former All-Southern Section quarterback from L.A. Baptist High, will leave Cal Lutheran to play junior college football, Kingsmen Coach Joe Harper said.
Hernandez could not be reached for comment, but Harper said his impression is that Hernandez wants to play junior college football as a means to earning a Division I scholarship.
Hernandez redshirted his freshman season at Division III Cal Lutheran this year.
