Premiere Radio Profit Surges to $458,562

Premiere Radio Networks Inc., a Sherman Oaks producer of syndicated radio programming, said its third-quarter earnings rose sharply as several recent acquisitions contributed to its bottom line.
In the three months ended Sept. 30, Premiere had a profit of $458,562, up from $25,249 in net income a year before. Revenue grew to $4.17 million, a 38% increase from $3.03 million.
In the recent nine-month period, Premiere earned $1.83 million, in contrast with a year-earlier loss of $300,594. Revenue rose 58%, to $12 million from $7.58 million.
Among the recent acquisitions contributing to Premiere’s improved results are radio programs it bought from Olympia Networks of Missouri Inc. and its purchase of Mediabase Research Corp.
