Santa Paula residents are invited to an open house at City Hall on Tuesday to get the latest results on council elections and other local and state ballot issues, officials said.
The city will have a staff member at the County Government Center in Ventura who will call in election results to City Hall, said Kimberly Rodrigues, an administrative assistant.
After local polls close at 8 p.m., ballots will be delivered to City Hall, then transported to the Government Center. Initial results, mostly from absentee ballots, are expected about 9 p.m.
Rodrigues said two televisions will be set up and refreshments will be served in the council chambers on election night.
She said that City Hall, located at 970 Ventura St., will be open until results from Santa Paula elections are tabulated.
