Re the Counterpunch “Doc Shows Give Wrong Health-Care Diagnosis” (Oct. 31): Hopefully, Professor Joseph Turow realizes that these “doc shows” are purely to entertain. These shows are not produced for educational television.
I rather doubt that either the producers of “ER” or “Chicago Hope” have contract clauses that specify that both shows must pontificate the health-care benefits of the Clintons, health maintenance organizations or the American Medical Assn. Why should they?
