CITY SECTION FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Poly Gets Over-Priced, 69-6

Durrell Price rushed for 238 yards and four touchdowns in only seven carries as Sylmar High embarrassed Poly, 69-6, in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game Friday night at Poly.
For the second consecutive week, Poly allowed its opponent to score on every possession.
On consecutive carries, Price gained 58, 65 and 75 yards--all touchdowns. Sophomore Tyrone Morgan added 107 yards in five carries, including a 75-yard touchdown run.
The best fight Poly put up was during a brawl that delayed the game nearly 20 minutes. Eleven players were ejected--six from Sylmar and five from Poly. Two more Poly players were ejected later in the game for personal fouls.
Sylmar (8-0 overall, 6-0 in conference play) held Poly (2-6, 2-3) to minus-7 yards rushing. Poly quarterback Ricardo Gamboa completed 15 of 29 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions.
