Scholarships Available for Latino Students

Latino high school students from throughout Southern California are eligible for $1,000 scholarships through the Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources, a nonprofit organization that has distributed $215,000 over the past five years.
Applications for the HACER scholarships are available through high school counselors and are due Feb. 1.
