Non-Kudos to Drivers of MTA’s Buses
I’m writing in response to Jeannette K. Multer of Los Angeles, who commends the Metropolitan Transit Authority drivers (“Kudos to the Drivers of MTA’s Buses,” Letters, Oct. 2).
I am 14 and don’t have a driver’s license, so I depend on the buses. Many times when I’ve had to take the MTA to school, I’m standing at the bus stop waving my money in the air, thinking the bus will pick me up. To my surprise, the bus goes right past me. The next bus doesn’t come for another hour.
I am outraged about how these MTA drivers can be so careless. I don’t know what part of Los Angeles Jeannette K. Multer is from to have courteous MTA bus drivers, but where I live, these drivers are very rude and unfriendly.
