PASADENA : Homeless Shelter Reopens After Repairs
- Share via
The YWCA of Pasadena-Foothill Valley has officially reopened Hestia House, its facility for homeless women and children in the San Gabriel Valley.
Hestia House was temporarily closed last May to reorganize the program and make some improvements to the building. The repairs were made possible by a grant from the Jacobs Family Foundation.
In addition to providing shelter and food for women and children in need, the facility provides counseling and opportunities for women to go to work and take care of themselves and their families.
