A trolley tour called “Tour d’Art” begins Wednesday in New York City, offering visitors a new way to see some of the city’s cultural institutions, shopping areas and neighborhoods.
The tour, a joint effort of Gray Line New York and the nonprofit Assn. for a Better New York, is scheduled to run through Nov. 23. Using trolleys and double-decker buses, Tour d’Art will make continuous loops on a route that covers Manhattan and includes 31 stops. Passengers may get on and off at any of the stops as often as they wish for three full days.
Tickets, at $19.95, are available at the Gray Line Tour Office, 900 8th Ave. For more information, call the association (212-370-5800) or Gray Line (212-397-2600).
