SEASON AT A GLANCE: As a sophomore last year, Iacenda scored 20 touchdowns. He’s well on his way to topping that total with five touchdowns in the 1994 opener last week.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: The 6-foot-1, 205-pound running back rushed for 120 yards in nine carries and caught four passes for 74. He had touchdown runs of 12, 6, 47 and 3 yards. He also took a shovel pass from quarterback Steve McKeon 19 yards for a score. Each time, Iacenda raced through the line of scrimmage untouched, then either ran over or around defenders in the secondary. “What can I say?” he said. “It’s fun to run on defensive backs.”
