Etiwanda 28, Palmdale 6--Senior fullback Ben Tuifui ran for 205 yards to lead host Etiwanda, which had 343 yards rushing in 49 carries.

Adam Johnson intercepted two Palmdale passes to lead an Eagle defense that allowed zero net yards in the first half and 89 in the game.

Palmdale kicker David Alvarez kicked a 37-yard field goal to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead.

Jan Brown returned a kickoff 79 yards to the Etiwanda 14-yard line, setting up Alvarez’s second field goal, a kick of 26 yards.

Kilpatrick 12, Silver Valley 7--Quarterback Caesar Cuevas threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to receiver Henry Flowers with 1:24 remaining to lead Kilpatrick to the victory at Silver Valley in Yermo.

Kilpatrick intercepted four passes, including two in the final 30 seconds, to seal the victory. The Mustangs won despite losing four fumbles.

Kilpatrick finished with only 62 total yards but held Silver Valley to five yards rushing and three first downs.
