Two Spots Open on San Juan Capistrano Grant Committee

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — The city is accepting applications for two openings on its Community Development Block Grant Committee.
The panel makes recommendations to the Planning Commission on funding such programs as affordable housing for those with low to moderate incomes, home rehabilitation, historic preservation, downtown economic development and street improvements.
Applications for the two openings are available at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto. Paperwork must be submitted to the City Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Sept. 6.
The City Council is scheduled to consider appointing new committee members Sept. 20. The committee has five members.
