Woman Fatally Shot in Anaheim

ANAHEIM — A woman was shot and killed Sunday in the 600 block of South Emily Street, police said.
Neighbors reported hearing shots about 3:45 p.m. and seeing a man leave the area with a rifle, said Sgt. Phillip Lock of the Anaheim Police Department.
Lock said investigators still were on scene late Sunday night questioning witnesses, but no one had been arrested.
The victim’s identity was not released.
