** 1/2 BLACKstreet, “BLACKstreet,” Interscope. Group founder Teddy Riley is still regarded as one of hip-hop’s innovative young honchos. However, no tracks here really equal past hits he produced for Guy, Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat. Songs such as “Baby Be Mine” and “Booti Calls” are irrepressibly funky, but their casually cynical attitudes toward sex are questionable.
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
