‘Silents on Sundays’ to Feature Women in Hollywood

“Silents on Sundays: Women in Hollywood” will be presented at 1 p.m. on the first three Sundays in September in the Pio Pico Gallery of the Homestead Museum, 15415 East Don Julian Road, City of Industry.
The series, screened on video, starts with a program of short comedies, “Her Bridal Nightmare” (1920), with Colleen Moore; “Campus Carmen” (1928), with Carole Lombard; and “A Luck Would Have It” (1918), with Betty Compson.
Sept. 11: “The Extra Girl” (1923), starring Mabel Normand.
Sept. 18: “It” (1928), with Clara Bow.
