KPFK Dismissals

As one of the frequent guest hosts of “The Family Tree” and “Freedom Now” radio programs on KPFK-FM who was dismissed, I feel the need to clarify some issues revealed in Claudia Puig’s article, “KPFK Drops Two Programs Accused of Using Hate Speech,” (July 23):
None of the letters received by any of the programmers stated what specific action led to their being removed from the air. Contrary to statements by station manager Cliff Roberts, there was no due process and he spent no time at all “working” with programmers.
