MEXICO CITY — Kidnapers released a supermarket executive held hostage for more than three months in one of a series of high-profile kidnapings that have shaken Mexico’s business community.
Angel Losada Moreno was freed late Friday, four days after his family announced on independent Television Azteca that it had agreed to pay an unspecified ransom.
Losada, vice president of Gigante, one of Mexico’s largest supermarket chains, told Television Azteca by phone that he felt fine and had been well-treated by his kidnapers.
