SOUTH AREA : Revitalization Plan Public Hearing Set

A public hearing to consider a five-year revitalization plan for the Hoover, Adams-Normandie and Normandie 5 redevelopment projects will take place Thursday at Lanterman High School.
The hearing begins at 7 p.m. at 2328 St. James Place and will be conducted by the Community Redevelopment Agency Board of Commissioners.
Redevelopment programs focus on stabilizing residential qualities by creating affordable housing, preserving existing housing and historic buildings and funding public improvements such as new parks and street repairs.
