* Roger F. Rodericks has been appointed vice president of AST Europe Ltd. for AST Research Inc., a personal computer manufacturer based in Irvine. Rodericks has been managing director of AST Europe Ltd. since 1990 and will continue in that role. The company said part of his focus as vice president will be to move AST into emerging Eastern European markets. Rodericks joined AST in 1984 as United Kingdom sales manager of its first overseas subsidiary.
