BRIEFLY : Dance: Jazz Ensemble Schedules Auditions

The Jazzantiqua Dance Ensemble is holding auditions for apprentice dancers at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dance Collective studio, 4327 Degnan Blvd., Leimert Park
Dancers must be between 16 and 21, and those with a minimum of two years of training are encouraged to apply. The audition will be in the form of a jazz dance class.
The apprenticeship program is designed to prepare dancers to become full members of Jazzantiqua, a dance company that focuses on concert jazz dance. The company collaborates on works with the Mark Shelby Jazz Quartet, an ensemble that frequently performs at nearby World Stage.
