CAA Hires Former Senior Murdoch Executive: Jim Griffiths, former managing director of Rupert Murdoch’s Star TV and a former 20th Century Fox executive, was hired to develop ventures for Creative Artists Agency clients in cable, satellite and broadcast television markets. Griffiths in January resigned as head of Star, Murdoch’s satellite broadcasting operation in Asia. Griffiths also is a former senior home video and pay television executive at Fox.
