GARDENA : City to Install Speed Humps on Trial Basis

After years of repeated requests from residents to slow down speeding motorists, Gardena will install trial speed humps in two areas--on Electric Street and in an alley in the 2100 block of El Segundo Boulevard.
City crews will begin installing the humps this month, said Gardena Public Works Director Ken Ayers. The project will cost $3,000 to $5,000, Ayers said.
