April Restaurant Closures

The county Department of Health Services has the power to shut down food facilities for as short or as long a period of time as necessary for the owners to correct conditions that pose a danger to the public health. Here is a list of the restaurants closed during April.

Aristocrat of Manila--1925 W. Temple St., L.A. Closed 4/13 to 4/14. Poor general sanitation.

Cafe de la Mer--1405 Montana Ave., Santa Monica. Closed 4/18 and remains closed.* Sewage system failure, no toilet facilities.

Domino’s Pizza--1117 Manchester Ave., Suite C, Inglewood. Closed 4/27 to 4/29. Unsafe food temperatures, no potable water or no hot water.

El Jacalito--10685 San Fernando Road, Pacoima. Closed 4/5 to 4/7. Vermin infestation, no plans submitted.
