Continental Cablevision to Offer GTE’s Two-Way TV Service: The two companies said they will work together to provide two-way television to Continental’s customers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire during the next three years. Continental, one of the nation’s largest cable operators, will incorporate GTE Corp.’s “Main Street” interactive service into systems that reach about 500,000 homes in the two states. The service includes much of what people find in computer on-line services--news, travel guides and shopping choices--but instead of using computer keyboards, viewers use TV remote controls.
