Garden Grove 4, Norwalk Glenn 3 (10)--Greg Pines singled in pinch-runner Brian Jones with the winning run for visiting Garden Grove (16-9). Ronnie Moreno struck out six, giving up three runs and five hits in 10 innings for the Argonauts.

In a Division II wild-card game:

Cerritos 2, Savanna 1--Jose Vasquez gave up two runs and four hits for visiting Savanna (10-16). Mike Garcia’s third-inning home run was the game-winner for Cerritos.
