FULLERTON : Comments Sought on Water Rate Hike
- Share via
The city is seeking public comments on a proposed 6% water rate increase that the City Council is expected to vote on in June.
To voice opinions and concerns, residents are invited to attend a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center, at 340 W. Commonwealth.
The meeting is hosted by the Fullerton Energy Resource Management Committee.
All comments will be considered by the council, officials said.
The water rate increase for next year has been proposed to cover operating costs for the city’s water system.
City officials said that if the proposal is adopted, further increases would still be needed over a period of years.
