Regarding “World War II: When Lions Roared” (NBC, April 19-20): I was very disappointed in Part 2 of this movie. It was very shallow. No mention of Japan and Italy’s part in the war. No mention of the atomic bomb dropped on Japan; no mention of Hirohito--or Mussolini. No mention of the surrender to Gen. Douglas MacArthur on the battleship Missouri. No mention of Adm. Nimitz. In other words, very shallow.
