Despite questions about how well computers are being integrated into classroom learning--and a dearth of data about their impact on student achievement--the nation’s schools are pouring more money every year into computer purchases. Spending on education technology products and services by U.S. schools, grades kindergarten through high school:
1991-92: $1.785 billion
1992-93: $2.128 billion
