Alternative Rock Fest Set

IRVINE — KROQ will be throwing its second annual “Weenie Roast and Sing-a-Long at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, 8800 Irvine Center Drive, on June 11.
Performers during the daylong alternative rock fest will include the Violent Femmes, the Rollins Band, Beck, Counting Crows, Afghan Whigs, Frente!, Candlebox, Pavement, James and the Offspring.
Tickets, $25 plus a service charge, will go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. through Ticketmaster and at the Irvine Meadows box office. For further information, call (714) 740-2000.
