After struggling during the early part of the Sea View League season, Young has come on strong. Wednesday, she shut out first-place Woodbridge, 2-0, on two hits. She lost the shutout streak Friday, but won her sixth consecutive game, pitching a three-hitter in a 12-inning, 4-3 victory over Santa Margarita. Young, who gave up only one earned run and now has a 0.99 ERA, drove in the winning run with a triple in the 12th.

* Kerry Przygocki, Calvary Chapel, gave up three hits and no runs in three Olympic League victories.
