India Explosion Kills 23

NEW DELHI — Fireworks exploded in a warehouse in western India on Wednesday, killing at least 23 people and injuring 77.
The explosion occurred after midnight as Hindus set off firecrackers during a religious procession. One of them landed in the warehouse in Chikhalthane village, about 730 miles southwest of New Delhi.
