Dolco Packaging Corp., a Sherman Oaks maker of plastic packaging, said its first-quarter profit rose 24% to $1.37 million, compared to a $1.11-million profit in the first quarter of 1993.
Revenues for the quarter that ended March 31 were $17.1 million, an 8% increase from $15.8 million a year earlier.
The company attributed the profit gain to broadening its product line to include more expensive specialty items, and to increased sales.
