Man Found Slain in Neighborhood

VAN NUYS — Police discovered the body of an unidentified man who was stabbed numerous times in a residential neighborhood in the 6600 block of Kester Avenue, authorities said.
The victim has not been identified pending notification of his next of kin, a coroner’s spokesman said Sunday.
The body of the man, described as a Latino in his 20s, was found about 5:18 a.m. Saturday, Los Angeles Police Officer Ron Allen said.
As yet, police have no motive or suspects in the killing, nor have they recovered the weapon, Allen said.
