VENTURA : Shots Are Fired at Medical Laboratory
- Share via
Authorities are looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting against a Ventura medical laboratory, the Ventura Police Department said Saturday.
About two dozen late-shift workers were on duty at the Mayo Medical Laboratory in the 1800 block of Palma Drive about 11:45 p.m. Friday, but no one was injured when several shots were fired into the rear of the building.
Police said the shooting was apparently one of a series of similar incidents against the company that are under investigation, but the Ventura Police Department spokesman would give no further details.
Representatives from Mayo Medical Laboratory would not comment on the shootings Saturday.
