* Karen Joy Goldstein has been appointed senior vice president for managed care services at Community Psychiatric Centers in Laguna Hills. She joined the company from Value Behavioral Health, which was created through the recent merger of Value Health’s American PsychManagement subsidiary and Preferred Health Care. At Preferred, she was both a vice president responsible for building the managed care firm’s western region and executive director and chief executive of its subsidiary PHC-CAL.
