Garfield 7, Jordan 3--Armiro Cuevas hit a three-run triple and scored the winning run on Byron Valencia in the third inning to spark Garfield to a Southeastern Conference win Thursday at Belvedere Park. Benny Olivades hit a solo home run in the third for Jordan.

Chaminade 9, Loyola 2--Chaminade’s Joel Orme scattered four hits and struck out six as the Cubs lost a Mission League game Wednesday at Loyola.

Crenshaw 3, Narbonne 1--Todd Moore singled in the go-ahead and scored on a two-base error in the ninth Tuesday to give Crenshaw its first win in the Southern League. Mike McNeely, who entered in the eighth, pitched two-thirds of an inning to earn the victory. Tim Moore got the save.
