COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Santa Barbara Gets Drop on Oxnard

An error by Oxnard College second baseman Ryan Gause allowed the winning run to score in the 13th inning of Santa Barbara’s 4-3 victory in a Western State Conference game Thursday at Oxnard.
Ventura 6, Moorpark 5--Raider right-hander Jeff Naster, who pitched a no-hitter in his last start, gave up two runs in the 10th inning of a WSC game at Moorpark. Brandon Knight picked up the victory in relief.
Glendale 8, Valley 7--Randy Vickers beat the throw from center fielder Ozzie Areu to score the winning run for the Vaqueros (12-18-1, 10-10-1) on a ninth-inning single by Armando Mesa.
Chaffey 14, Antelope Valley 6--Jack Cox and Brandon Yount had two RBIs each for the Marauders (13-16, 7-13) in a Foothill Conference defeat.
