The Jewish Community Center of Orange County is planning to open a preschool in the fall.
The new preschool, at the Jewish Federation campus at 250 E. Baker St., will have flexible scheduling, including extended care from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will feature high staff-to-student ratios.
“The program will be top-caliber,” said JCC Executive Director Moises Paz. “Our approach will stress the whole child by offering a nurturing developmental program while incorporating Jewish culture, religion and values.”
Construction of the preschool’s six classrooms, multipurpose room, stage area and outdoor playground is scheduled to begin May 15 and be completed by mid-July.
