Man Found Fatally Shot on Anaheim Sidewalk

ANAHEIM — Police were investigating the shooting death late Wednesday of an unidentified man found on the sidewalk near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and West Wilken Way.
Just before 9 p.m., police received several 911 calls reporting a man shot on the sidewalk in the 2200 block of Harbor, according to Sgt. Gary A. Querry.
“It’s kind of a busy area,” Querry said. “Lots of people go by there.”
No details were available late Wednesday as homicide investigators combed the commercial area where many motels are located.
Querry said the shooting occurred next to a dental office and tire store, both of which were closed.
