Sunny Hills’ Kim Loses to His Doubles Partner

Kevin Kim, a sophomore at Sunny Hills High and top-seeded in the boys’ 16 division of the Easter Bowl Junior Tennis Championships, was defeated by his doubles partner, sixth-seeded Michael Russell, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., 6-2, 2-6, 6-2, in the final Saturday at Doral Park.

Kim reached the final by defeating Mike Bryan of Camarillo, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), in a semifinal Friday.
